McCullough to read at final Third Wednesday, Plainview

This will be the Rural America Writers’ Center’s final Third Wednesday in a series that has continued for over a decade. It is our honor to feature long time contributing author and Winona’s Poet Laureate, Ken McCullough, for this special event. The evening begins at 7 p.m., Wednesday June 21, at Common Sense Development – 412 W. Broadway, Plainview, MN 55964. As always, a Q & A session will follow McCullough’s reading, from his recent Red Dragonfly Press publication Dark Stars, with a break for refreshments and an opportunity to purchase books. The evening will conclude with the traditional “open mic’ for attendees to read from their own selections within a five minute time frame per person. This event is free and open to the public.

After a thirteen year run, June’s third Wednesday will be our swan song. We will celebrate the important legacy of the Rural America Writers’ Center. The space will no longer be available; for this and other reasons, our board has decided to bring closure to the organization. We’d love to see those who have appreciated RAWC through the years at this event.
